what's that sound?

do you know what one of my favorite sounds in the world is?

so let me tell you.
i love the sound of the vacuum cleaner sucking up little bits of dirt and stuff on the ground.
weird i know. but strangely satisfying.

a few months ago mom let me borrow her new vacuum cleaner.
(nesting instincts and all...)
i haven't given it back yet, and i threw out my old Hoover.
her's is an electrolux.
i remember the day that the electrolux sales lady came to our house when i was a kid.
she brought a canister of dirt and vacuumed the couch!
it was amazing . i had never seen a couch vacuumed before.
i think that was the selling point for my mom.
it was definitely a key component for every vacuum i have ever wanted: it had to have an upholstery nozzle.

needless to say mom bought the vacuum.

that was probably 15 years ago.
and then she bought another about 8 years ago.
well the new one is an electrolux too.

and it's AMAZING!
i swear i use it almost every night after the kids are in bed.
it has some really cool features
like being super quiet
the power button is on the handle
a foot release for the power nozzle so you can let take it off and use the end to get into corners
it has a long enough cord to reach from corner to corner of my little house.
oh, and it has other great features.
the one downside that i have found is that the accessories in the handle don't seem to want to stay put. they keep falling out every time i go to put it away.

i love it.

i just love this vacuum and how well it sucks.
